Thank you to First UCC in Bremen, IN for being a gracious and generous host for our NWA Spring Meeting. Your hospitality and joyous spirit refreshed our own spirits, and the delicious meal you prepared was a feast indeed. We truly appreciate and are thankful for your time and efforts, and for the pleasant afternoon.
A big Thank You to Jim J. for offering a wonderful presentation on the "Social Media" ins and outs, dangers and safety issues associated with accounts. We learned, we were encouraged, and we were inspired - thank you again Jim.
Also, a thank you to the Sacred Rythm Drum Circle for an uplifting addition to our Worship time. So many were introduced to this wonderful expression of praise that had never been experienced prior to our meeting. Wonderful addition to the praise offered by Linda R. and Jo An S. during our time of singing praises together. Thank you for sharing your gifts with us.
Our Registrar reports that 19 of our 24 churches were present and 4 guests, for a grand total of 65 people attending our Spring Meeting. Thank you to all for the support of YOUR Association. Let's beat the record again in the Fall! Details forthcoming on the greatness planned for October time-frame. Come back to check our news.
We have a new Registrar that will begin his tenure in July. This will afford the opportunity to transition with Laura N. and learn the tasks required. Thank you.
ASSOCIATION VISITORS - We have Laura Navarro and Gary Gibbons representing the NWA. The Association Visitors "do not have any agenda other than to get aquainted and to be a 'face' of the Conference to you and the congregation. They do not come to sell anything other than our desire to feel connected to one another in new ways - and to assure the congregation that its life and ministries are noticed, cherished, and important in the work of the UCC-IKC." Welcome the opportunity to get acquainted and please take the time to invite them to visit. (please use the contact form on our website and they will be in touch with you-thank you)
